Linear Fluorescent Lighting

newLIGHT Enhanced Rebate Program

Efficiency Vermont is offering businesses significantly enhanced rebates for upgrading their old T12 fluorescent and HID high-bay lighting systems to more efficient equipment. The rebates could be up to 50% of the equipment cost (and in some cases even more)!

Compared to T12 lighting, HPT8 light fixtures save up to 50% percent in energy, last up to twice as long, and provide better quality light. Consider upgrading to HPT8 now since most types of T12 bulbs, due to federal legislation, will no longer be manufactured for sale in the U.S. after July 14, 2012.

To qualify for enhanced rebates offered through the newLIGHT program, customers must work with a contractor, distributor, or other lighting professional who will evaluate their facilities and submit a Project Pre-Approval Form to Efficiency Vermont on their behalf.

All signed rebate agreements must be received by October 15, 2011. To meet this deadline, please submit Pre-Approval Forms no later than September 30, 2011. All projects must be completed by December 1, 2011.

Benefits

  • Reduce your lighting energy costs by saving 25 to 50% or more in lighting energy use for each fixture you upgrade.
