If you are a business (for-profit; non-profit; multi-family housing provider, etc.) please call the Vermont State Agency of Commerce & Community Development at 802-828-3211 to report damage to your business and to speak to someone about additional resources available.
The Vermont Economic Development Authority (VEDA) has allocated up to $10 million in low-interest loans (1% for the first two years with no payments required in the first year) that will be made available to businesses and farms hurt by Hurricane Irene. Information at veda.org.
The Vermont State Infrastructure Bank (SIB) has loan funds available at 1% to municipalities for repair of flood-damaged roads and bridges. More information at http://www.veda.org/interior.php/pid/1/sid/46.
